Our Vision

The vision and founding goal of Al-Khatib Radiological Centers for Radiotherapy, Diagnostic and Nuclear Medicine, to be a strategic partner and complement to the only government hospital in Damascus (Al-Bairuni University Hospital), is focused on relieving the national burden and operating fast and high-precision pathways to absorb the pressure of long queues, and providing flexible and advanced technical alternatives within Syria

Our Vision

  1. Responding to the Growing Number of Patients: We are expanding clinical and treatment capacity to accommodate the increasing number of patients arriving from various Syrian governorates, while reducing waiting times for those in urgent need of treatment, as time is a critical factor in tumor response to radiotherapy.

  2. Introducing Advanced Radiation Technologies: We aim to equip our centers with the latest state-of-the-art linear accelerators, enabling the delivery of highly precise radiotherapy using the most advanced treatment techniques in line with the highest medical standards.

  3. Integrating Diagnosis and Treatment: We are committed to supporting our centers with the latest CT simulators, positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT), and single-photon emission computed tomography/computed tomography (SPECT/CT) systems, ensuring highly accurate treatment planning and optimal protection of surrounding healthy tissues.

  4. Social Responsibility: We are dedicated to providing a cost-effective local alternative that relieves Syrian families from the burden of high expenses and the hardship of traveling abroad for radiotherapy by making treatment available locally at carefully considered private-sector rates. We also seek to establish coordination channels with charitable organizations and humanitarian initiatives to provide subsidized treatment for patients who cannot afford the full cost.
